Biography
Calvin had been writing songs since 1994 and started of with recording his song ideas down on old skool silver cassette decks. One of his 1st recording gear was a 4-track Multitrack tape recorder which he had used for working out almost 200 initial compositions.
The gears slowly improved and expanded over the years, and in the year 2000, Calvin decided to go seriously into production, of which he picked up Audio Engineering on his own to try to bring his original works to commercial level sound quality. By 2007, Parablue Studios had expanded to full-band facilities.
Being a musician as well, Calvin is skilled in many different instruments, with forte on Electric Guitars, he is also capable in playing Acoustic Guitars, Bass, Keyboards, Ukelele, Mandolin and a more novice skill of many other instruments. With that, he is able to visualize music production from different perspectives. As well as his involvement in numerous bands had expanded his viewpoints.
Calvin has notable experience in Audio Engineering, experienced in almost 1000 live sound shows from working for 4 years in Singapore Swimming Club as Sound Engineer and with Alliance Music Group as Chief Freelance Live Sound Engineer, as well as Sound Engineer for Havana Social Club. Versatile in many skills and directions, it's his passion for music and sound that has brought him to this path, and basically, he needs to freedom to let his inspirations flow.
